Bloom's Taxonomy

Bloom’s Taxonomy is a hierarchical framework that categorizes educational learning objectives according to levels of complexity and specificity. At GIM, we encourage faculty to design courses and assessments that emphasize higher-order learning outcomes. Accordingly, Course Learning Objectives (CLOs) and question papers should primarily focus on teaching and evaluating advanced cognitive skills.

The Bloom’s Taxonomy verb chart for cognitive learning serves as a useful resource to help faculty frame effective CLOs and construct meaningful assessment questions.
