Traits

Competency Goals (CGs) define the key competencies that students are expected to develop and demonstrate through the programme. Each Competency Goal is supported by a set of suggested Traits, which provide specific indicators of the competency and help guide its assessment.

Faculty are encouraged to refer to the relevant Competency Goal and its suggested Traits when designing and evaluating assessment components intended to assess a particular competency. The Traits serve as guiding indicators for assessment and help provide a common understanding of the competency being evaluated.
