Curriculum Maps

A Curriculum Map is a structured table that illustrates how individual courses within an academic program at G.I.M. are aligned with the program’s predefined Competency Goals. It serves as a planning and communication tool to ensure coherent delivery and progressive development of competencies across the curriculum.

Each course is mapped to one or more competencies using the following coding:

  • I - Introduce - The course introduces the competency, helping students develop a foundational understanding

  • E - Emphasize - The course deepens students’ grasp of the competency, building on the foundational level

  • R - Reinforce - The course reinforces and strengthens students’ ability in the competency, typically through applied learning

  • A - Assured/Assess - The course formally assesses and assures the level of competency attainment by students
